SUMMARY The project “Creating eco-efficient producer services” was funded by the European Commission, DG XII. The overall purpose of the project was to bring the topic of eco-efficient services into the mainstream of European business and policy-making. In this final report, the broad characteristics of eco-efficient services are examined, as well as the possibilities and barriers to their development. Moreover, practical tools are provided for both large companies and SMEs to identify opportunities to introduce eco-efficient services.
